Objetives
The Flow Cytometry Facility of IdiPAZ supports the scientific activity contributing to the advance in the research, at present benefit of different research groups of the Institute. The equipment allows several purposes, such as cellular subpopulations phenotypic analysis, quantification of soluble factors in biological samples and culture supernatants, and cell cycle experiments.

Resources
The Flow Cytometry Laboratory of IdiPAZ has the following facilities:
• One Becton Dickinson FACSCelesta™ Cytometer Analyzer: designed to make multicolored flow cytometry more accessible and allow researchers to benefit from new equipment and reagent technological innovations. These optical and reagent technology parallel advances complement the panel design with new bright fluorochromes, providing a deeper and more powerful insight into cell analysis.
- This analyzer has three lasers, with the following available filters: Blue solid state Diode (FITC, PE, PE-CF594, PerCP-Cy5.5), Violet solid state Diode (BV421, BV510, BV605, BV650, BV711, BV786), y Ultra Violet solid state Diode (BUV395, BUV737).
• Two Becton Dickinson FACSCalibur™ Cytometer Analyzers: can also perform a wide variety of clinical and research applications such as the analysis of blood cell lineages, phenotypic analysis of tumor cell lines and primary cell cultures, as well as quantification of soluble factors using specific bead kits.
- Each analyzer is equipped with two lasers: 488nm argon laser y 635nm solid-state red diode laser; and the following filters:
• FL1 (FITC, Alexa 488)
• FL2 (PE, PI)
• FL3 (PE-Cy5, PerCP, PerCP-Cy5.5)
• FL4 (APC, APCCy7, Alexa 647).
